In 2010 Hawk T1 XX263 is the primary display aircraft and is shown in display configuration with a special commemorative paint scheme to celebrate 50 years since No. 4 Flying Training School (4 FTS) established at RAF Valley. The name of the display pilot, Flt Lt Tom Saunders is painted below the canopy. The Hawk is displaying at over forty locations in Europe and the UK between May and October and will be watched by an estimated five million spectators. The aircraft is supported by the engineers of Babcock Defence Services who service and maintain the entire Valley based Hawk fleet. No. 4 FTS, which is comprised of 208 and 19 Squadron, is responsible for training the Royal Air Force and Royal Navy fast-jet pilots of the future before they move on to the front line Squadrons.
