Squadron Prints Lithograph No. 1169 - Tucano T Mk1, ZF269, No. Flying Training School, RAF Linton-on-Ouse, Tucano Display 2012.
The Royal Air Force Tucano Display aircraft is ZF269 which is based at No. 1 Flying Training School (FTS), Royal Air Force Linton-on-Ouse. All flying at No. 1 FTS is conducted on the Tucano T Mk1 in support of the Unit\'s mission \'To Train Tomorrows Fast-Jet Aircrew\'. Student pilots from the Royal Air Force and Royal Navy undertake Basic Fast Jet Training at Royal Air Force Linton-on-Ouse. Central Flying School (Tucano) is also located at No. 1 FTS with responsibility for training and standardisation of the instructors at the unit. The 2012 Tucano Display aircraft paint scheme was designed by Jo Gough to mirror the colours of the Union Flag and, with the added Royal Cipher (E II R) on the underside, to celebrate the Queen\'s Diamond Jubilee.
