The Royal International Air Tattoo is the world’s largest military airshow, held annually at RAF Fairford in the United Kingdom to support the work of the Royal Air Force Charitable Trust. This unique event unites military and civilian aircraft operators from across the world in a celebration of professionalism and aeronautical achievements. In 2024, RIAT welcomed a diverse array of approximately 250 aircraft from around the globe, entertaining nearly 200,000 people. This year’s event featured several key themes; the operational theme was PUSHING THE BOUNDARIES IN AIR AND SPACE, celebrating the work of flight test, evaluation and scientific research aircraft. In addition, the show marked 50 YEARS OF THE F-16 FIGHTING FALCON, 100 YEARS OF THE ROYAL CANADIAN AIR FORCE and 75 YEARS OF THE NORTH ATLANTIC TREATY ORGANISATION.
